Rodolfo, born among carnauba trees (a native plant of the region), soon demonstrated an interest in working with this crop—extracting powder, processing, and refining carnauba wax. In fact, at the age of seven, Rodolfo was already helping transport the straw that would become the powder, and consequently, the wax in its raw form.
The powder processing and refining process, previously carried out solely manually, is now also mechanized for export, thus adding greater sales value to our product.
At 24, Rodolfo was already the director of one of the largest export companies in our region. Not satisfied, but backed by his experience, he took the initiative and founded his first company four years later, Rodolfo G. Moraes & Cia Ltda., which would be established twelve years later.

Canauba wax extraction has existed for almost two centuries. However, only in the last twenty years have we seen true revolutions in its extraction process. This was only possible thanks to technological advances and the growing market demand for high quality standards. At Rodolfo G Moraes, these standards are expressed from wax extraction to the marketing of the final product.
The carnauba palm tree can be found in various regions around the globe. But only in the dry and humid climate of northeastern Brazil do the leaves of this palm tree begin to produce wax. Because the leaves regrow in the following harvest, the extraction process is environmentally friendly, ensuring the regular development of the carnauba palm in the following season.
